The Windows Virtual Private Networking Update is designed to work with Windows 98. This update improves Virtual Private Networking stability while adding some security features previously released in the Windows 98 Dial-up Networking Security Upgrade. How to download and install
Preparing your system
- During the installation process, you will be asked to restart your computer. For this reason, make sure you save your work and exit all applications (except Internet Explorer) before beginning.
- Click the Download button at the top or bottom of the page.
- Follow the instructions on your screen.
How to uninstall
Uninstall instructions are included in the DUN40.DOC file installed with this update. The DUN40.DOC is copied to the System folder under the Windows install folder (typically C:\Windows).
