Control graphics acceleration and other features

Windows Me lets you control how your graphics hardware is used, which allows you to quickly and easily troubleshoot any display-related problems.

Here's how:

1. On the Start menu, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2. Click the Display icon.
3. Click the Settings tab, and then click Advanced.
4. To control graphics acceleration, click the Performance tab. If your system is running efficiently, set the slider to Highest, and Windows Me will optimize the performance of your video adapter.
