| ServerWORKS Manager Version 3.3 Is Now Available! | |
| ServerWORKS Manager is supplied with every
DIGITAL server system, providing consistent and robust management capabilities. Servers
running all of the major operating systems - Windows NT, DIGITAL UNIX, OpenVMS, SCO UNIX,
OS/2, and NetWare - can be managed from a single console. ServerWORKS Manager
"discovers" your network, and then displays it in a topological map. Detailed
server and network information can be monitored through a graphical browser. Alarms may be
set against critical system events and parameters; notification of an alarm condition is
accomplished by electronic mail, paging, or the launching of a script. Based on the SNMP
(Simple Network Management Protocol), ServerWORKS Manager can discover and monitor any
SNMP device, and interact with other SNMP-compliant management tools. Introduced on April 18, 1998, ServerWORKS Manager V3.3 includes new platform support and agent enhancements.
