ServerMaker is an interactive configuration tool
for ordering DIGITAL Servers and rackmount
systems, including the latest systems and
options. It provides prompts and warnings as
selections are made for adding such options as
networking cards, RAID and SCSI adapters, hard
drives, tapes, and monitors. ServerMaker can
configure a single system at a time, a cluster of
two identical systems, a cluster upgrade to an
existing system, or a rackmount system. The
result is a DIGITAL Server parts list that can be
printed or converted to an Excel spreadsheet for
proposals, plans, or pricing.
