I want to run syd in OSF version 2

Hello, alpha-osf-managers.

  I need to run syd on my system (DEC Alpha with OSF version 2.0).
I ftped syd-3.1p1.tar.Z and I installed with root permisions, but when
I run syd, the next message appears:

  syd: kmem - cannot read swapiocount

  Where is the problem?

  Please, help me,
