Hi,

My second problem about restoring /usr file system is now resolved.
The reason is that the system requires to write a symbol table for /usr
into the /tmp partition, and that is too small for /usr.

The solution is to mount the /tmp onto another partition, then do the
restore. I did try to reboot the newly restored root file system, which
is 400000 blocks big, and then restored /usr, but it still failed. I
had to mount /tmp to another file system.

While on the same subject, does anyone knows how to skip the end of
file marker after restoring the first file system? I tried
# mt -f /dev/nrmt0h fsf 0

but it didn't seem to skip it, I was still getting TAPE read error: error 0.

If I do
# mt -f /dev/nrmt0h fsf 1

it actually skip the whole of the next file system dump.

Anyway, I can live with the tape read errors.

Regards,
Peter
