My Original Post:
-----------------
I am running OSF/1 v3.0 on my 3000 / 600. I would like create
and modify some pixel mapped files "*.xpm". Is there a pixel map editor
hidden somewhere within the depths of this operating system or is there
such of a program out there that can be executed on an Alpha?
SUMMARY:
--------
Many suggested different avenues toward my goal to be able to
edit/modify XPM type of files. Most of the different programs suggested
compiled fine on my workstation. Some needed to access the Run-Time
library for Xpm which I know exists somewhere in the Internet world, but
not on my workstation. Some worked great for bitmap files "*.xbm" (2 colors,
black/white), but not for "*.xpm" (multiple colors).
Inquiry:
--------
It seems that I still need to access the run-time library for Xpm
for most of these programs to work. Does anybody know where I can get
such an item? I have "libXpm.a", which is used to compile the programs,
yet the programs are still looking for an XPM Library to load. All of the
manuals I have do not mention the run-time library.
