Hi,
We've a problem with the i/o handling of some PathWorks V5.0 clients to our
OSF/1 printerques. The queues are connected to LPS17 PrinterServers.
History: There has been a switch from PathWorks V4.1 to v5.0 and there is a
new server. It was DEC-server 5000/240 Ultrix 4.3a and it is now Alpha
3000/600 OSF/1. The old situation worked well.
The main problem is in some cases that the printout of a simple WordPerfect
file of 400K, including HarvardGraphics images disturbs the queue and it'll
cut into pieces. The first piece is readable, the rest is cut in individual
tasks and prints as ascii.
Where should I start to find clues? It looks like that it has to deal with
timeouts or so.
Please let me know if you know possible answers at these questions
Best regards....
