pop problem.

       hello OSF1 managers.

    I have an alpha 3000 running OSF/1 v 1.2.
    I am trying setting up the post office protocol (pop).
    the post office protocol offers users an alternative to the standard
    mail system.
    I am following all of the necessary rules, to enable users to use the
    post office protocol.
    my pop problem is the next message "maildrop empty" and when i add a
    new pop subscriber i'd disable him from reciving mail.
