Dear OSF-managers,
I'm buying a hard disk for an Alpha 3000/300 OSF/1 v2.1. It has
an RZ26L ( The only thing in the box makes me and my roommate uncomfortable
because of its noise ).
Someone said here before that DEC uses Seagate Disks in the Alpha's.
I found that you can buy 2.1GB (Seagate ST12400N) from a third party with
the same price of buying 1.0GB (RZ26L) from DEC.

Is it possible to install Seagate ST12400N ( internal ) on Alpha?
What are the troubles that I would run into if it is possible?
Do I have to buy a special bracket from DEC?
Is there someone did it? How?

Any comment would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Mostafa
