Sharing tape drive & cd drive among 2 Alphas

Hello OSFfers --

I have two networked Alpha 3300s running OSF v2. I also have one scsi
cd-rom drive and one scsi dat tape drive.

I would like to connect the tape drive to one Alpha, the cd-rom drive to
the other, and let the two machines share the resources. How do I do this?
If I'm doing a level 0 backup on machine B, can the destination of the
backup be a tape drive on machine A?
