I saw a message on this list several weeks ago about a user trying to
use Internet in a Box to telnet to an OSF/1 system and hanging after the
connection was made. We had a similar problem with users with Internet in a
Box trying to connect to our WWW server. I got the following response from
Spry, which might be useful to anyone having similar problems.

Our records show you are running Internet in a Box 1.0. We had some problems
similar to what you mention on a few sites with that version. We made an
upgrade available nearly a month ago that should fix this problem. I'm

Late Breaking news ! THE UPGRADE is now available!
If you are experiencing problems connecting to well known World Wide
Web sites, problems with your AirNews application or need SLIP dial-up support,
please ftp to support.spry.com, login as anonymous, using your email address
for the password.
Once connected,please go to the /pub/ibox/patch directory and read the file
readibox.txt. This will explain the installation procedure for the upgrade.
There is also an addendum to the documentaion. Get either ibox.txt (text
format) or ibox.doc (Word for Windows 6.0 format).
This upgrade will update registered copies of Internet In A Box version
1.0 to the latest version level. Please note that this will update ONLY
REGISTERED copies of Internet In A Box.
