Problems with mh 6.8.3

I am having problems getting the latest mh (6.8.3) to work on my OSF/1 V3.0
system. I can get it to build but when trying to send any mail I get the
following error:
post: problem initializing server; [BHST] no servers available
send: message not delivered to anyone

I do not get these errors from the old mh. I assume there is a problem with
my /usr/local/lib/mh/mtstailor file or my mh-6.8.3/conf/MH file used durring
the build. Does anyone have a MH file from a working 6.8.3 OSF/1 system? If I
copy the original /usr/lib/mh/mtstailor file to the new
/usr/local/mh/mtstailor I get the same errors. Any thoughts?
