I've got a third party product which uses lpr to send print jobs.
While this works fine for cases where the printer is on the network,
there is a problem when I just want to print to an auxillary printer on a VT
terminal.
I know the codes for setting a VT into Printer Controller mode (CSI5i
CSI4i), but I can't figure out where to tell printcap that the device I want to
print to is the user's current login device. And yes, the tty will change
with each login.
I'd rather not have to create an lpr alias as this would complicate life for
the regular network printers.
