Moving from 3000/400 to 2100 4/200: reinstall needed?

We're considering trading in our 3000/400 on a new 2100 4/200. (I'm drooling
already.) We're running OSF/1 3.0. Is there a reason I would need to
reinstall the system, then copy selected files over, or can I just dump the
filesystems off of the 3000 and restore them to the 2100? I'd like to make
this as painless as possible.
