It seems that there aren't that many choices of wysiwyg wordprocessors
for OSF/1.

Applix (contains wordprocessor and graphics editor)
(other software include spreadsheet, mail and ad hoc data query tool).
1-800-8applix
This package was highly recommended by 4, no negative comments.

Framemaker
This package was also highly recommended.
Currently sold via DEC-direct up until ~May?? then Frame Technology will be
selling it. Current version is a binary translated version of Framemaker
3.0 or Ultrix/RISC. 4.0 (port to the OSF/1 platform natively, expected
out some time this year.

Interleaf
Got one positive and one negative response.

One responded that they were looking into Softwindows to run Word and Excel.
Has anyone tried that one?

Summary:
I called both DEC/Frame Tech. and Applix. Framemaker seems to be a
very powerful package. It's more than a wordprocessor, it's a document
publishing software, but it also cost alot more per seat. Applix will be
sending me a demo copy to evaluate.

Thanks to all who replied:
