compiling akcl-1-625 under osf/1 2.0

I retrived akcl-1-625 from ftp.cli.com and tried to compile it on
our DEC 3000/300X AXP (under OSF/1 2.0).

Unfortunately in the MACHINES file there is no reference to our machine.
We tried to do the compilation by selecting DEC 3100 and VAX (ultrix).
For DEC 3100 compilation crashed because not recognizing some processor
commands, and for VAX it wouldnt find some C libraries.

We would be very grateful if you could indicate us what to do for
compiling akcl on this system.
