xhost

Dear gurus,

My problem is probably stupid, sorry ...

I can't properly set the permissions for connecting another machine to my
alpha station (OSF/1 3.0) as an X client or server.

I read in the doc and man that the permissions can be set by xhost. I do it
and it works ... as long as I don't logout (then the permissions are lost)

I read also that the permissions are stored in /etc/X*.hosts ... which did
not exist. I created a X0.hosts file, editing manually the names of the
remote machines with no effect.

So: how can I define permanent permissions for remote machines?

Thanks a lot,

Jean-Loup
