Serial Ports

Does anyone know the details on DEC 2100 Server serial ports? I currently have
our company hooked up to the Internet via a 14.4K modem on one of the Alpha's
serial ports and during periods of intense traffic I get the following errors
on the console;

acerint: overrun error; status = 63
ace0: input silo overflow

I have the serial port set to 38400 to accomodate compression. I guess my
question really boils down to this:

        What is the maximum speed supported by the serial ports?
