OSF V3.2 performance - Is it faster?

     Hi,
     
     There appears to be some dialogue going on about OSF V3.2
     being faster than earlier versions.
     
     Does anybody know anybody in Digital Engineering who can
     comment on this, or describe why it is faster (if it is). It
     would be nice to have a definitive answer. I think this
     would be interesting to most people on the
     alpha-osf-managers mailing list.
