        Hi Digital UNIX managers,

I have remote printer configured on couple of AXP 2100 running Digital
UNIX version 3.0. On one system the printer works fine from su or
non-superuser account, but on other machine it works only from
superuser and when I try to print from non-superuser account I receive
        the following message:

         lpr -Prx1 myfile
          lpr: cannot create /usr/spool/lpd6/.seq

The entry in printcap looks like this on both systems.

        lp6|6|rx1:\
        :lf=/usr/adm/lp6err:\
        :lp=:\
        :rm=EPS_0454E5_P1:\
        :rp=EPS_0454E5_P1:\
        :sd=/usr/spool/lpd6:

I played with protection on files/directories and also compared files
on both systems which looks fine.. But I am sure there is something
simple which I'm missing.. ofcourse! on Friday just before the weekend
        Any help is highly appreciated.

        Thanks,
        Ronny
