'w' on v3.2 ?

I've just 'upgraded' to v.3.2 on my DEC3000/400. Now when I try to do
'w' nothing shows up in the JCPU, PCPU, or what columns. Manual
entry gives no clue about what I am missing. Any suggestsions?
