I found the fix ... it's a real no-brainer too ... [blush] ...
Did a vdir of /usr/local & noticed the owner & group for satan-1.1.1
were just numbers (comes from using GNUtar alla-time I betcha). So,
from /usr/local I did a `chown -R root:system satan-1.1.1` and then a
`chmod -R 700 satan-1.1.1`. Then `cd satan-1.1.1` and `perl satan`.
Et Voila! C'est tres bien! Manifique!
Error messages all go bye-bye! Time to start collecting data on my network now
... let's see if my Sparc5 passes the sendmail testing!
