pg hanging up the modem

     Dear Netland,
     
     I have an alpha box running osf/1 V-3.1. My users report that
     whenever they pipe something through more, it hangs up the modem line
     on them. I saw the same thing once when I did a man on stty. I have
     told them to use "more" but there is resistance from the old svr4
     folks. Does anyone have any suggestions?
