mt status command

Hello -

I have a TLZ07 DAT drive on my AlphaServer 1000. When I do an 'mt status' I
get a long list of information back, but cannot find any explanation of what
all the fields mean. What I am looking for is a field that will tell me what
tape file number I am currently on. Under SunOS, the mt status command clearly
gave this info. Is this buried in there somewhere under OSF/1 or does anyone
know of another way to get this info? The 'stat' field looks like it tells
you whether it's at the beginning of the tape or not, but if not doesn't give
any further info.

TIA,
