Hi everybody !
Having some problem to print by tcp/ip to a DEC 90M terminal
server. I'm using two printfilers provided by DEC, DECspool.c and
ds3-unix-spool.c, ( old once? does ds7-unix-spool.c exist ? ). I've enabled
telnet listener 2001 on port 4 and I can connect to the port with
"telnet 90M 2001" and the output is echo'ed to the port. But with
those filters I just recieve:
Apr 28 14:14:27 viking Telnet OF[1640]: Can't bind address to listener: Permission denied
Apr 28 14:14:27 viking Telnet OF[1640]: Can't bind address to listener: Permission denied
in the lpr log file.
Anybody with ideas??
Does anybody have any experience by tcp/ip printing to serial printers
from OSF/1 (la600 lg06 in my case), what is the prefered way to connect
to network and spool??
Thanks !!
/Ola
