Thanks to everyone who pointed out that this is a known bug in both 3.0 and
3.2, and giving me detailt on the patches which are OSFV30-116-1 for 3.0 and
OSF320-053 for 3.2. I have ordered the first of these from my local support
centre and eagerly await its arrival.
