problems with EMU-TEK terminal emulator and alpha telnetd

Due to a need to provide Tektronix terminal emulation to PC's, we are using
'emu-tek' which is essentially a windows PC telnet client with vt[12]00 and
tek4nnn emulations. Our applications support team here are having some
problems with this product so I am posting this in case anyone else knows a
fix.

Emu-tek works fine with all other hosts on site (Ultrix, open VMS, SunOS,
Solaris, HP) except alpha's. With alpha's the connection seems to get
established, the alpha runs the login program, but the prompt never appears on
the terminal emulator screen. I am running tcp_wrappers 7.2, but the problem
is unchanged when this program is removed.

All other terminal emulators seem to work ok, so I'm a bit suspicious of
emu-tek, though it itself seems to work ok with all other hosts/OS's.

For the record, it's emu-tek V1.01.15, using Novell's winsock for it's IP
stack.
