Hi OSF managers and specialists,
I try since 2 month aproximativly to use x25native v1.1 for OSF 3.0 upon decstation dec 3000/500 and it doesn't work's.
I already use it in same softs conditions and differents hardware ( dec 3000/400 dec3000/300 sable...)
and I never had any problems.
X25native a release before is correct under osf 1.3 upon this dec3000/500 station.
I use ctf , trying to debug the problem, and i saw the level2 (frame) is never up and the same error is comming up ( cp disconnect)... Just like the soft x25 cannot find a real synchronous serial plug to send its messages or it cannot synchronise to the packet commutator ( in fact I use TRANSPAC ).
Digital took my disk and test it upon a dec3000/500 in the Digital center in france and they had no problem to use it.
But perhaps 2 differences with our configuration.
1/ they use MEGAPAC ( a TRANSPAC simulation ) who can be permissive ???
2/ We are not sure Hardware and firmware upon these 2 machines are exacly the same.
SO, we're trying to make it up upon an other dec3000/500 station but can anybody help us about it , or give us an idea to debug it.
