Hello,

I'm trying to install a PowerUser CDROM drive on an Alpha 3000/300X.

Past summaries from these group on this subject have been quite
informative, but I still cant get it to work.
I've altered the /sys/data/scsi_data.c and /sys/data/cam_data.c files,
still no luck.

Whenever I issue any command with /dev/rz2c I get
No such device or address
then the CDROM panel lights up, then the (built-in) floppy drive lights up.

file file /dev/rz*c yields
/dev/rz2c: block special (8/2050)
/dev/rz3c: block special (8/3074)
/dev/rz4c: block special (8/4098)

What have/haven't I done right/wrong.
Much thanks - I new at installing hardware!!
