Summary of linker problem and new question.

The answer to my linker problem was that it is a known problem and fixed in the
next release. It only is a 3.2 problem. The workaround (other than -O1) is to use
undocumented flag "-ncr" which means omit compact relocation records. These are
only needed for profiling.
My thanks to Dr Tom Blinn and Chuck Schneider from Digital. I also received
several "me too" messages and the same advice from one other user who had already
dealt with this.

Now for my new question.
I just received a ne alphastation 250. I was cloning a disk for it and realized
when it wouldn't boot that I didn't actually know what cpu to put in the kernel.
The one I cloned was from a 200/233. Does anyone know what I hsould list, or do I
really have to load from a CD?
