8200/8400 experiences

Hello.

We are considering the purchase of one (or more) of the newly
announced DEC 8200/8400 systems and I am interested in knowing
if there are any experiences out there I should know about.
We are hoping to distribute about 15,000 accounts over several
large systems and I'd really like to know

1) How many CPUs to play for with that number of users
2) How many systems I should have (two 8400's with 2 CPUs or
4 8200's with 2 CPUs, for example. Which would be "better")
3) How fault tolerent are these systems when clustered or even
   just sharing disk resources.
4) etc. etc. etc.

Basically, what I am looking for are some ideas on how these
large systems perform under a load of users. I've had some
bad experiences with our present large (9,000+ users) system
and would like to avoid a repeat. If possible (necessary?) I
can even arrange to visit a site and get a look-see for
myself, if anyone were willing.

Thanks for any info.

Ray
