Top under 3.2A (C2) on a 1000 4/200

I have gotten top from chocolate.pa.dec.com (top-3.3beta6) and compiled it
successfully under 3.2 on an AlphaStation 400 4/233. It works "fine."

However, on the AlphaServer 1000 4/20 it compliles without errors, but
gets a "Memory fault(coredump)."

Anybody know what the difference between the two boxes is?
Both are compiled with options "none"

"Theoretically," both systems are configured "the same." Both are running
3.2A and C2 security.
