printing and printcap

I never thought this would be a problem. I am trying to get an entry into
the printcap, my only entry so far, for an LN03 printer. This printer is on
a VAXstation running VMS and Multinet. Here is my printcap entry:

ln03|lp0|ln03:\
        :ct=remote:\
        :if=/usr/lbin/ln03of:\
        :lf=/var/adm/ln03-errs:\
        :lp=:\
        :mx#0:\
        :of=/usr/lbin/ln03of:\
        :pl#66:\
        :pw#80:\
        :rm=vaxdsk.mrs.umn.edu:\
        :rp=ln03:\
        :rw:\
        :sd=/var/spool/ln03:\
        :xf=/usr/lbin/xf:

This is pretty much what lprsetup did for me. I added the ct=remote line.
It appears that a connection is made to the VMS system, the file gets
transferred over there, and then nothing happens. The connection stays open
and the file never gets printed. What did I miss??? I even used the
printcap from my Ultrix system, which prints with no problem, but that
didn't work either. Any clues appreciated. Thanks.
