SUMMARY: Who command doesn't provide host info

Hello All,

My concern was the command "who am i" doesn't list
the host information.

I guess version 1.3 is different than that of 3.0. Users
wrote their scripts using the command "who am i" to get
the user login and the corresponding host info. When I
upgraded the system to 3.0 without configuring BIND, I
assumed that was the problem. I then configured BIND, and
it was still the same.

In any case, the correct solution is to use "who -M am i"
or "who -Mm". It is always safe to refer to the man pages
first before making assumptions.

Thanks to all whom responded.
