The question was: is it possible to use the #9GXE graphics adapter which is
shipped with some AlphaServers (e.g. AXP 2000) in a high resolution mode
(1280x1024 versus 640x480 standard mode).
The answer: not yet. This resolution is not yet supported. There are no
jumpers to set the resolution, and the current release of Digital Unix does
support only the basic resolution. It is not clear (maybe we can hope) that
a future release will support the higher resolution. We will see.

P.S. Our solution was to put in a ZLXp-E1 spare board. Now we could use our
2 processor AXP 2000 as power-workstation (which we *DO NOT* ;-). But
managing the system is now much more fun....
