My original query was

>Is there a utility on DEC UNIX to setup an automatic reply function to
>incoming mail ? For example if I am on vacation I would like to setup an
>automatic reply to all the messages I receive while I am away.

Thanks for everyone who replied. The solution is pretty simple. DEC
UNIX comes with a utility called vacation (see the man pages for
vacation for detailed information). There is another utility called
deliver which does the same thing I'm told, as I haven't tried it
myself. Deliver can be ftp'ed from oak.oakland.edu.

To err is human; to really screw up it takes a computer.
