SUMMARY: sth strange with '/bin/mail'

That's not a problem of sendmail (I was using standard DEC sendmail and
now sendmail 8.6.12), the reason of the strange bahaviour is that
binmail program is not RFC 822 compliant, so it doesn't populate mail message
with the RFC-compliant headers that you might expect.
This program is used for local mail delivery, and shouldn't be used
as mailer program. If you use Mail (mailx) program included with Digital UNIX,
or any other mailer like elm you'll have no such problems.
