CERN HTTPD - What's the latest?

Can anyone advise me whether the problems with scripts and sensitive
images have been or are likely to be fixed? I read a while ago that
CERN didn't have an alpha system to investigate and fix the problems
and although I've applied one patch which is supposed to fix the
script problem, I have a perl script that I cannot get to work
with the CERN server, which is O.K. with the NCSA server.

I suppose I'm at the point where I'm seriously considering switching
the the NCSA server, but I'm willing to wait if things are going to
be fixed. Does anyone know anything that they could tell me which
might influence my decision one way or the other?
