I have troubles with a micropolis disk (MICROP 3243-19MZ FastSCSI 2, 4.35 GB)
mounted on an AXP 200 4/166 with OSF 3.2 with SCSI id #1. Apparently it is seen
without problems, but sometimes the machine hangs for a few minutes (about 5)
giving error messages regarding disk #0 (that is the original DEC RZ26L internal
drive, where the operating system resides).
The error messages are of the following kind:

uerf version 4.2-011 (122)

I tried also to:
1) take away the external SCSI terminator -> the machine hangs at
boot giving error on disk #0
2) replacing the external SCSI terminator (the former one was not DIGITAL, the
new one DIGITAL) -> the machine hangs at
boot giving error on disk #0
3) remove micropolis disk -> the machine works fine
Is this a problem of my (brand new) disk or of the SCSI interface (with this
kind of disks I had some problems on a 3000/300, but I was said that these
problems are really a problem of the machine).
Thank ypu in advance
