What about Pathworks on Digital UNIX?

About Pathworks on Digital UNIX (once OSF/1): a friend of mine in the
Pathworks engineering group had this to say in response to Ed Silver's
"Pathworks Responses <SUMMARY>", which I forwarded to him:

Well, you can't please all the people, all the time. I'm pleased
to see that there are people who actually port freeware to OSF for
us. I'm in favor of free choice (or paid choice for PATHWORKS).

[T]he market place is not unanimous. Encourage people to tell us
what to improve, and we'll try. Criticism [is useful] that is
specific and detailed along with examples of other products that
        perform that function.

I concur. Reply to me directly and I'll forward to him. Let me know if
you want this done anonymously, otherwise I'll include your name etc., in
which case you run the risk that Digital engineers might get in touch with
you directly, or that you might be asked to try out new things.
