Disktab for Seagate Elite IX drive

Hi fellow overworked and underpaid managers (you can tell that it's not
been a good week at the coal face :-)

I've been having lots of fun with one of our Digital Unix systems
concerning our news feed. We have had lots of problems relating to lack
of disk space, so I convinced the boss to buy two Seagate Elite IX drives
(the 9Gb drives). The plan was to add them to our AdvFS news spool and
then remove (using rmvol) the three 2Gb drives from the fileset.

I've had two problems (so far!), one which I've sort of fixed and the
other is still causing my ulcers to play up...

1) I needed a disktab entry for the Elites - I created one using EDGE
technology (EDGE = educated guess) but if someone has a disktab entry
based on more scientific means, I'd love to compare numbers (Note, there
isn't a disktab for the Elite IX on gatekeeper.dec.com).

2) The data migration is taking forever... I started it about 3pm
yesterday and it seemed to be running fine (by 4pm it had moved about 30%
of an RZ28). This morning when I arrived (late, about 10am) the migrate
was still moving - sadly I can't find out what's happening as
showfdmn domainname hasn't returned yet (after 1 hour of waiting).

Any help appreciated.
