Hello managers:
I have NCD xstation installed with Alpha system. It was working for over a
year and now after alpha reboot this afternoon it doesn't work.
The xstation was setup by someone else and I can't find any NCD documents.
Can some one point me to right direction for where to look for NCD config and
also where to look on Alpha? NCD displays about some database error.
I would greatly appreciate any help.

The problem was the someone had ran secsetup and switch security to enhanced
and after that system crash Since security was changed to enhanced system came
up with enhanced security mode and NCD won't get login prompt. It also forced
us to change all password on the system.
Nothing was changed on NCD nor on Alpha. I checked all files unde
/usr/lib/X11/xdm. Finally I called NCD and Dec. Dec was able to help me with the
problem.
The change I had to made was in to two files:
/etc/auth/system/ttys
/etc/auth/systems/devassign
After the changes I restarted xdm and it worked fine.
Dec send me detail information via e-mail. If anyone interested please drop me a
mail and I will be glad to forward the info.
