update on our slow server

Hi all,

Regarding our slow server I've had a few people happily point out to me
that 3.2B is just a hardware release (which explains the lack of useful
change information in the release notes!) and that 3.2C should be about
any time real soon now just as soon as the cd's finish being polished
or something like that, and it has a bizillion bug fixes/patches/whatever.

Meanwhile the system seems to run on. tons of kernel use during peak
times, with a massive increase in syscalls. Investigation continues.

FYI.
