DEC 3000 series

Greetings,

As you all know, the DEC 3000/300 series was produced with a key repeat problem,
which one could reproduce consistently by trying to type grep. The 'e' would
repeat in that case. Does anyone know whether that problem was fixed by DEC
in the later production of the same model line?

Another question, also on the DEC 3000/300, is on the RZ26L drives. The first ones
had extremely noisy drives. Does anyone know whether the new RZ26L's have
the same characteristic?
