Hi all
I have a "new" AlphaServer 2000 4/200. This was shipped in with all the
hardware "pre-installed" by Digital! I am having a problem with the cd-rom.
When I issue a mount command, ie... "mount -r /dev/rz6c /mnt", I get the
following error:
/dev/rz6c on /mnt: I/O error
I placed an entry in fstab and got the same I/O error when the machine was
displaying diagnostics on the screen while booting. I ran MAKEDEV just to be
sure that wasn't the problem and am stumped???? Waiting for Digitial to
respond makes me disgusted.........
Can anyone offer any insight??? If so I'm all eyes!!!!!!!!!! Thanks in
advance.
