>with MS Windows 3.1 using pcnfsd on the UNIX side and FTP corp. IDRIVE
on

Thanks to the following who responded so quickly:
        Brian 'Doc' O'Neill <oneill_at_cs.uml.edu>
        Joseph McGuire <joe_at_vyne.com>
        Randall S. Winchester <rsw_at_eng.umd.edu>
        Bertrand Hutin <hb_at_interlagos.o2tech.fr>
        Craig I. Hagan <hagan_at_oec.com>
        David Warren <warren_at_atmos.washington.edu>
        Thomas Heistracher <heistr_at_dbio10.bio.sbg.ac.at>
        Harold March <MARCH_at_mtl.marconi.ca>

There there seems to be two possibilities:
        OnNet 2.0 frpm FTP, Corp.
        Samba (available from http://lake.canberra.edu.au/pub/samba/)

The latter is free and is highly recommended by many of the above.

Thanks again to all who responded
