Thanks to the following for their quick responses and help:

pobrien_at_draco.harvard.edu (Patrick O'Brien)
matt_at_perutz.salk.edu
"Martin J. Laubach" <mjl_at_cslab.tuwien.ac.at>
Jorn Wilms <wilms_at_bogart.Colorado.EDU>
Jon Reeves <reeves_at_zk3.dec.com>

Jon Reeves had the correct solution, he asked:
|>What happens if you change your user name from haymanR to haymanr?

After changing my username from haymanR to haymanr in all pertinent places
(/etc/passwd, /etc/group, tcb database, /var/adm/sendmail/aliases, moving
to new $HOME, etc...) I now get mail addressed to me as I should.

Thanks to all who responded, and helped.
