keyboard query

Hi everybody!
                We have a 2100 server which uses a PS2 keyboard. We
also have a XT to PS2 adaptor and a XT keyboard. Will it be
possible to connect the XT keyboard to the 2100 server? Is it
safe to make such a connection? If yes, then what are the steps
involved?
