Hello,

I include bellow my original request:

SUMMARY:

The DEC 2100 have 2 SCSI buses. To use the second bus, you need to buy a second
SCSI card. Many people tell that the KZPAA-AA PCI to Fast SCSI adapter works
well. The cable reference for the KZPAA-AA is BC25R-3B.

Without the second SCSI card, only the even slots can be use on the
StorageWorks. To use the odd slots, you have two possibilities:

1) buy a new SCSI card
2) From alan_at_nabeth.cxo.dec.com:
The BA350 family of StorageWorks shelves allows the option
of configuring the shelf with one or two SCSI busses. In
the single bus configuration, the two SCSI connectors are
used for daisy chaining shelves. In the dual bus config
one of the SCSI connectors gives access to the one of the
busses and the other connector to the other.

If you want to use both busses, you need two SCSI adapters.

If you want to configure the shelf for a single bus, remove
the fans and swap the two large jumps/terminators on the
back of the shelf backplane. If you have the shelf documentation
it should explain how to do this.

    From torben.leifsen_at_astro.uio.no:
        ... truncated ...
It might be possible to reconfigure the Storageworks shelf to
connect 7 of the slots (max. for a single SCSI bus) to one connector
by moving a jumper and a terminator plug on the back of the shelf,
but I have not tried this for this kind of shelf. Consult the
Storageworks Shelf guide that (hopefully) followed the machine
